Short answer: with Evolution Homebuilders, a Custom RTM (Ready To Move) home starts at $135 per square foot, and a custom home built on your land starts at $150 per square foot. For the same size home, RTM usually starts lower. Your final price depends on the design, your selections and the work your land needs.

What "RTM" means

RTM stands for Ready To Move. It's our version of modular: we build the home on our lot in Lindsay, Oklahoma, and then move it to your land. You may not have heard the term before. The idea is simple: the house is built in one place and delivered to another, anywhere in Oklahoma.

A traditional custom home is built from the ground up right on your property. We do those too, within about 75 miles of Lindsay, Oklahoma.

What the starting price doesn't cover

A starting price is where the conversation begins. Every project is different, so plan for:

  • For an RTM home: delivery access to your property, a receiving foundation, and utility connections.
  • For a home on your land: site access, the foundation, utilities and any local requirements.
  • For both: your selections and any changes to the design.

We confirm all of this for your specific home and land before anything is final.

So which one is cheaper for you?

If you want the lowest starting price, or your land is more than about 75 miles from Lindsay, Oklahoma, RTM is usually the place to start. If you want a larger home or one of our European, Hill Country, Heritage or Modern designs built on site, building on your land may fit better.
