What Does It Cost to Build a Home in Oklahoma?
Starting prices for RTM (Ready To Move) homes and homes built on your land, what those prices include, and how to plan the rest of your budget in Oklahoma.

Short answer: with Evolution Homebuilders, a Custom RTM (Ready To Move) home starts at $135 per square foot and a custom home built on your land starts at $150 per square foot. Across our 70 designs, starting estimates run from $124,000 for our smallest RTM home to about $625,000 for our largest on-site design. Your final price depends on the design, your selections and your land.
The two starting rates
- RTM (Ready To Move), from $135/sq ft: we build the home on our lot in Lindsay, Oklahoma, then move it to your land, anywhere in Oklahoma.
- Built on your land, from $150/sq ft: we build from the ground up on your property, within about 75 miles of Lindsay, Oklahoma.
To get a starting estimate for any home, multiply its size by its rate. A 1,500 sq ft RTM home starts around $202,500; the same size built on your land starts around $225,000. Every design on Floor Plans shows its estimate, and you can Compare up to three side by side.
What else to budget for
The starting price is the home. Your land decides much of the rest:
- Land: if you don't own it yet, that's its own purchase.
- Getting the land ready: access for crews or delivery, clearing and grading.
- Foundation: for an RTM home, a receiving foundation; on your land, the foundation we build on.
- Utilities: water or well, septic or sewer, and power to the house.
- Your selections: finishes and any changes to the design.
We confirm each of these for your specific home and land before anything is final.
